Cookie Chip Cookies Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1-1/2 tsp vanilla essence
2-1/4 cups maida
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts crushed in small pieces
Method:
1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) with rack in center of oven.
2) Take baking dish, apply some ghee on it and set aside.
3) Now beat the butter with the beater. Add the white and brown sugars and beat until fluffy (about 2 minutes).
4) Now add eggs, one at a time, beat well.
5) Add the vanilla essence and beat till it gets mixed.
6) Now take flour, baking soda, and salt.
7) Add this to the above beaten mixture and beat.
Add chocolate chips and nuts about half way through mixing.
9) If the dough is very soft, cover and refrigerate until firm (about 30 minutes).
10) Now pour about 2tbsp mixture for each cookie in baking tray.
11) Bake for 12 – 14 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
12) Cool completely on grilled rack.

Makes: Nearly 40-45 cookies.
